To process the ideas and images that discomfort us, such as gore, it takes quite a level of maturity... Yet, in the same sense, Religion can be seem as such through people's eyes. I'm currently working on a very religious server, (not based on any world religion) and I was wondering to what extend can I impliment religion into the server without people reacting violently towards such items.
I don't find it particulairely bad for a lot of long, memorible games have held great religious implication -- Crono Trigger, Zelda, Marrowind have all been touched by divine in some way or another... Based upon religion in an obscure way, and yet, such as the three gods who forged the triforce, haven't offended very much people. Religion, although a very serious topic, is something deemed mature content, and thus, a child of thirteen years of age shouldn't be exposed to such. This may be extending the rule as for Graal itself is named after a holy artifact (The holy grail, for those who haven't noticed.. Graal is french for Grail

), alas, I do not see much to bicker about, but this can be held against me in any case.
The question arrises... How much religion implications may I put into the server without violating any rules or codes?
Religious questioning can be in part of how the world was created, what is life after death (is it reincarnation? Do we move onto another plane? Is it simply the void?), or prophets (Jesus, the son of god, persay...), as they connect with the earth in various ways. Religion, afterall, is a set of beliefs. Thereby, how much can the server's belief system be exposed to the player, and should I put a warning about the maturity of the content? Should I ignore it completely, as for this section is ignored by the rest because todays society isn't as religious as it was centuries ago?
