Graal's Framerate Disaster

Why o why does Graal do this to me? I know this should belong in "Bugs" Topic, but I don't care because it doesn't get enough attention there . Well Graal runs lets say... Slow on my 1.8 GHz Processor and the only way to speed it up? Run another app like Paint Shop Pro or Multimedia Fusion?! Umm is this a bug with the way Graal's memory is distributed or what?

Stefan reads the bugs forum more than he does this.

Graal has a lot of bugs like this, for no reason at all I guess. I have a slower and inferior (SP?) computer in every way to a friend of mines, and he strolls compared to my speed on graal. I think it's so stupid.

What exactly is the problem?
For playing fullspeed a CPU with
200-300 MHz should be enough
(normal situations, when there are
50 people on the same spot then
it can even slow down some 1Ghz proz).
Normally speed downs are mainly
caused by problematic gfx card drivers

XP Professional seems to lag Graal BADLY when there is more than 4 people onscreen. And this is with a system with:

600MhZ Celeron
256 Megs of RAM
RAEDON ATI 32 Meg

That is MORE than enopugh to run high end games like CounterStrike, and Command and Conquer: Renegade. Something is wrong.

[edit] Forgot to mention, this is on a cable connection.[/edit]

I don't think it is problematic GFX card drivers. My friend has a brand new Gforce mx2 with the newest drivers and it still doesn't go any faster for him on graal, he moves soooooooo slow. And has a really fast system, other games work perfectly fast on his computer, and a game like graal that seeming SHOULD take little resources, takes a lot. Diablo2 only takes 3 percent of my resources and Graal takes 14.

Heh, my comp has a:

950 mhz AMD Athlon
256 mb RAM
nvidia riva tnt2 32mb
20 gb HD

I can't run Renegade, or UT, or anything else now. Oh yeah and my registry is full of corrupt things which completely screws up everything DirectX related, and its spread like some kind of virus, my computer is completely infested with unstableness and I am going to reformat.

I wouldn't blame it on that though, I think its the hardware...

It's because of XP. Graal ran perfectly on my computer until I got Windows XP, same thing happened to atleast five other people I know.

Framerate slows down because of Windows XP. Grrr.. Thanks you guys for pointing this problem out.
