Graal 3.0 use directx 9?

I was wondering if you could please setup graal 3.0 (The new fixed one) when its out and finshed so that it uses direct x 9. I might not have problems then. It says it is supposta use direct x 7.

I'm using DirectX 9.0b, and 3.0 doesn't give me any problems.

It uses DirectX 8, there would be no need to use DirectX9 as the new features on it are really only for advanced 3d games

DirectX v9.0b is riddled with problems. I actually had to downgrade back to v8 so I could play certain games.

Uhh.... As far as I was aware, Graal 3.0 uses OpenGL, not DirectX.

Officially: You need to reformat, because DirectX is linked in with the system so much, removing it will cause a catastrophe.

yep, sure does... or else it wouldn't work on linux

dx is a feature only on windows so v3 had to be coded around that problem (unlike previous versions) C has more support for openGL anyway

It is silly how puny things like that could make a reformat neccessary. Just nuke and reinstall Windows, with older DX, and it should work fine.
