Just felt like making something. What do you think?

I like it. :)

I don't really like the gradient. It would look better if it was shaded as pixel art normally is; I can't think of a (the) word for it.

You should make it look more like the actual launcher than just a tube.

Toss away the gradient, personally I'd add black outlines but thats up to you.

For the fire, explosion, blast? Whatever it is called, you should look up explosion sprites from SNES games for reference.

I think its too saturated, and you want to implement the character into the object. By this I mean if you model lets say an assault rifle, It's going to be worn and weathered, dented and scratched; so you try to put them in . Rocket launchers will normally propel rockets and be surrounded in smoke quite often, and they are heavy duty things, you'll wanna reflect this by maybe desaturating it, adding some smoke stains here and there, dents, very sharp highlights that can barely be seen as well may be a good idea.

Nice ^^ I think you should practice you're shading a little more though, what program are you using to do it?

//I made one too ._.

Bad perspective on the front and back view, unless you want him shooting into the ground.

I want him shooting downward, I think the perspective is fine.

Look at the angle that the player head and player body is in, namely facing down, compared to the angle that your launcher is in. The perspective doesn't match the angle that you'd be shooting and doesn't look very aesthetically pleasing as a whole. It doesn't fit in because of its perspective.

No it's not.

Frankie 05-18-2009 08:17 PM

I agree. It looks like he's holding a pole.
