Showani's
How come showani's don't have all the effects that player. does? I can't change the showani's red, green, blue, alpha. I can't crop it(though you can in GUI's), I'd also like to see the possibility of vflip, hflip, as there's no way to currently do so.
PLEAAAASE :( |
yeah, would be nice
|
Oh ya, for flipping, I suggest simply changing stretchx/y
stretchy=-1 would flip the image vertically and such. |
add this and i can finish my script(cropping showanis)
|
That wouldn't allow you to crop showanis, you would just be able to mess with them...

Cropping ani's is already possible, but only for the GUI. :(
|
can't you use "with(findimg(#)) {" then do the commands like changeimgcolors(r,g,b,a); ??? (I havent tested)

GuiShowImgCtrl inherits all the variables in GuiControl, one of which is the ability to crop so things displayed inside aren't extended out of its extent.
GuiShowImgCtrl.showimg is the variable for the TShowImg object its using. You can't crop Anis at all but you can crop GUIs. |
Use actor.red etc.

Ooo, that's cool. But there's still the other things that would be nice. Cropping ani's, as well as flipping horizontally and vertically. Rotating doesn't give the results I'm looking for.

This is a feature suggestion having to do with ganis, would it be possible to make it so you can create new sprites in ganis by simply rotating existing ones?
|
Well there are commands like player.ani.addsprite(index), so you can dynamically modify or expand ganis, two players with the same ani would both show the modifications though.
|
Well I'd love flipping via stretchx/y=-int
Also, no idea, but rotated gani's(one rotated pi for example), will have weird positions. If I have a gani set at the player.ani, the idle, for example will be at the right position. Walk will be a little offset, and sword will be offset by a couple tiles. |
