Amulets and Shipyard
I just added 2 new features.
After editing 360 ganis it is now possible to show off the amulet your wear. You can show/hide it like the cape by rightclicking it in the inventory and selecting the option. If you notice a problem with displaying it just post here to get it fixed. We have images for all amulets but right now not every amulet is supported. But we try to add support for the Substance Amulet as soon as possible. In case you have some other amulet besides the Substance Amulet that is not supported please contact me. It might be possible that I forgot about it. We got complainments new people messing up the shipyards. It was suggested to have a kingdom right to open and close the shipyardgates. The new right kingdommembers need for the shipyard gates is the "S" right. |
Yay for amulets showing :D
|
Yeah we fianlly have the S right :)
Oh, and good job :D |
:o good job Bjorn !
|
Nice, rings next?

I also added support for the masks to hide them. |
The amulet's hot, and the S right will be helpful, good job
|
An update? Thank you.
Can you please add some new humanoid monsters as I previously suggested? It should not take much time and at least add something new. |

I'd like to see each race having many different ranks e.g. An Orc Warlord would be immensly strong compared to a Grunt. Orc fortress anyone? |
We can do orcs, and dwarves, humans, bandits, half-bomies, limited undead (unless you find a skull head or have someone gfx it), as well as miscellaneous demons and other things, even zormite enemies.
Also, regarding ranks yes I'd have there be tiers of different monsters becoming progressively strong, this would fill up our leveling gaps quite nicely as experience would go up as the monster gets harder, and we could also find a way to release tons of new items (whatever equipment the monster is wearing has a % to drop for example) As for an orc fortress, it would be pretty cool. But it would require more custom graphics and such. Get the graphics it could be done I'm sure. However, with our current available graphics we could build quite a bit of new enemies to keep everyone busy. |

We'd need sub-islands to fit all of these, since the current islands are so tiny. But you could prolly fit a destroyed castle with a staircase leading downwards into a vast network of tunnels filled with certain mobs and a boss at the end of it (note: bosses race must reflect the race of the minions and other mobs leading to him, e.g. Boss = Vargul, The General (minotaur) then the minions would be minotaurs). It makes me sad to know that none of these good ideas will be implimented... |
your ideas can go on and on, it's not like they'll happen. we just got lucky that staff decided to do 2 hours of work by making it so you can "Show your amulet" -woohoo, thank you for the first real update in about 2 years.

And if you think this was the first real update in about 2 years, god. I can't help you anymore. |
I'd like to see an update where Amulets don't drop anymore.
|
Hey... this is actually a pretty good update. I'll probably never want my amulets to show unless maybe I have rare ones, but that's what makes it better- there's a hide feature.

Hell yes, please.
Also, make it so we can usd items from cyberjourers using these gelet things that zone has. Thanks |
I can see it now...
$20 to start your own kingdom |

20$ for a decent item wouldn't be bad though (row in value or 500 diamonds)
Kingdoms usd'd for around 500$ back in the day. Which is probably why Drakeero returned upon seeing his precious being threatened. |

No, they definitely should not. I am all for staff monitoring kingdoms and ensuring they only fall for good rp reasons.
However, as for items, it would only make sense to make easy profit from this game. Hell, Jagen being corrupt and mass selling crap for usd actually created an economy. It was corrupt, but it was an economy. |
Wow, GREAT addition to kingdoms! Look like you guys are taking players suggestions to heart! Keep up the good work Bjorn and Stefan!
Now only if there was a way to show sarcasm over the internet. Now think about it Bjorn, if you spend 2 days worth of time to work on something USEFUL, to ENHANCE the game perhaps you wouldn't be getting flamed for a bunch of useless stuff you do to the server. |

But there were about 30 who actually told me that they really like it. If you think you can make something more useful, then spend the 2 days to develop and contribute it... |
Great work.
This is something I like to see on MMORPGs, your equipment actually showing. |
my only request is for a cross shaped wearable amulet be made, otherwise I love the new update.:D

I like the new amulets and stuff. There is no possible way to have a cross shaped one without stefans help then? |

I agree with Oasa on this one.
How long did it take you to do this? A couple of months? Seriously, spend the time on making something that makes the game worth paying for instead of some half-assed amulet bs. No thumbs up. |

This is great Bjorn, now my only request is that you hire more staff, GK would be much improved by a couple of new faces working on development, i might even steal a couple scripter's from Era ( Knowing important peeps FTW ), And i personally would work day and night making this server worth paying for, given the opporunity.
Thank you for at least reading this, G'day |

But right now everything is hard to test because the debugserver is some kind of frozen. Nothing works anymore. The people with access to GK directly, I can count with one hand. Because everything is done on Debug and not on GK. If someone is interested in helping the person should say it, if he has ideas and can script good he can get debug. |

How productive have you been? By the way, telling other people how bad they did something is not productive. ^^ |
