Though I think on the bottom of the tentacles you should draw in the suckers.

I love the dithering between colors in the sea - the bubbles. Very nice touch :)

I like the coloring, and the shading of the octopus ^^.

I love it, rocks my socks.

But i think you should add shines :D So it gives a little more contrast and character as if its slimey.

I love the background but one thing i notice is the fact you can see where the colours totally stop. It would rock if you added a little dithering there.

Right off the top, the light part is saded kind of wierd which gives it a very flat look. You are better off shading the bottom of the ehad as well.
Next you shaded the legs directly below the leg in a wierd manner.

You shaded the top but not the bottom. I think it would look better with shading on bottom.

The water lookswierd to be honest. You gotta change it and make the levels wavier and with maybe more dithering? But honestly, just make it wavy, that's the part that bugs me.

I might take that lineart and try it myself if you don't mind, during my time away from these forums i've been doing some PixelJoint tutorials and I think i'm getting better.

I thought I was getting better untill I got like halfway through this and realized I still suck pretty bad. Oh well here's my take. :cry:

kind of a rough edit of what I ment x.x I screwd up on the middle leg that sticks out sooo umm ignore that part.

[Edit] The shading on head was bugging me sooo fixed it. middle leg still wrong but I am stumped as to how light hits it x.x
