Events?
Okay, my co manager and I have been fighting over this for a while:
There are two ways we might do events, an events house for all staff ran events, with a warp room where all events can be accessed from, and it would be on an events island that would also have sepperate buildings for player ran events (by catagory), events shop, etc. The other way is that ALL events would be sepperate, there would be many warp rooms, arranged by catagory. The player would be able to warp there from clicking on a message. Though this would be much harder to script, makes the need for more levels, (more for player ran too) take up space on the gmap, players would not be able to hang out in the events house to wait for events, because there would by about 5 events houses, and it would be harder to add new events. What do you think? |
How about a third option:
NPC run events that dont require an Events Team Atleast thats what im gonna do on Mythic. :) |
Look, Im Not Anti-ing But "Events Island" Would Be Cool, People Would Like It More. I Cant Explain It, But They Would.

And why do you still capatalize the first letter of every word? :p |

The whole "event house" idea disgusts me. I think Era does it pretty well.
