Updates
The Kingdoms server has been restarted to fix following things:
- equipping weapons now readies the correct skill - when buying a letter you cannot give it bad names anymore - spells like godly retribution have reduced effects to not slow down the whole map - spells that affect people or monsters in front of you only work ~50 tiles, not across the whole map - sp is limited to maxsp*2 when using mana crystals |

Spells "like" godly retribution? What other spell was changed?
And if we now have reduced range with spells, can't you at least make them faster? Overall... sounds like yet another magic nerf :/ |
BAH...we can't use jumping skill or karate skill anymore while fighting...thats lame especially for jumping. It deactivates once you hit something. How stupid. I sorta understand about karate since you are using a weapon and not your fists, but jumping should still add extra damage and stay activated otherwise what is even the point of that skill.

Yea, that does make jumping pretty useless now.

I had always seen jumping as a reward for those who had high phys levels... I agree that it does seem worthless now that it can't really be used.

The people have spoken. Reactivate jumping while using weapons. Not like it's anything unfair. Just an extra skill that anyone can learn.

Affected spells: retribution strike (depends on your god), insect plague, holy wrath. Those were filling half of the main map with fireballs and lasting quite a long time, producing new fireballs all the time.
About jumping: it was a bug, and has been fixed. It is true that the skills should be more interesting, and that it should be possible to improve skills and not just the stats connected to the skills. If you have ideas about what those skills could be used for and how the skill levelling could be done then please post them (suggestion forum). |
You should be aboe to use jumping like a Lancer would. :] Just ready the skill, and a cursor similar to the one used by the bow could come up onscreen and freeze you in place. Then, wherever you click, your character could jump to that location and strike the enemy! But like missile weapons, you would need the appropriate weapon in order to attack. (Naginatas, other types of spears, etc.)

A level 40 icestorm used to span over 4 whole levels, which is somewhat unneeded. Although it was fun clearing easy maps like that.

Dragonbreath is like icestorm except with fire. It's supposed to be learnable but the book doesn't spawn in shops. :(
And what is wrong with spells reaching far anyway? We don't get any speed or signifigant damage increase... |
