Bomy wall glitch
 
Fix it.

Considering posts are the only thing about this, let's make a thread to catch peoples eye.

FIX THE DAMN GLITCH BECAUSE I WANT TO BE A BOMY AGAIN.

do you mean the glitch where if you hit a bomy over and over next to a wall he will just keep spinning and getting hurt and have no way of retaliating or some other glitch that i havent heard of...?

Fix the door glitch too.

Yes, that also needs to be fixed, but not as badly as the bomy wall glitch, and bomy wall glitch is only one line of code (I think), they'd just have to add "if (!strequals(#m,"whatever bomy hurt gani is")) into the script for taking damage.

The door one is IMPOSSIBLE. They'd have to do the whole system over. I used to bug Loriel every day and he'd tell me this.

Loriel was probably bullshiting you, as he is Loriel and that is what Loriel does, but still, it would probably be very difficult, and since we have bomy spin that we can use to get into the doors when that happens, it's not that big of a problem.

Yeah, I don't mind that bug. I wish wall bug was fixed so bomys could own.

Um, the problem that occurs about bomies not being able to get through the doors.. that is caused by swimming in water. When a bomy swims in water, the X/Y values of the bomy aren't integer values.. meaning it can end up as x equaling 23.3 or something when you come out of the water.. Then you won't be able to get in a door. This could probably be fixed by turning that value into an integer when they step out of water.

But a temporary fix is to just walk up against a wall or something (from the left or right) and it will adjust your x/y back to integer form. Then you can walk through doors.

hmm, maybe I'll fix the door bug now (If what konidias says is true) and I'll ask kamuii about making it so bomies cant be hurt when they are rolling

...if anything is going to "break" the bomy script, it's more likely to be changing the door bug then the walling bug, since the walling bug only requires 1 (at the most very few) added strequals.
