Review - Renegade.
 

NPCs, overall, I would give around a 7. The lights, storyline(movies), systems, -other things I don't know if he wants me to tell yet-, look pretty good. The only buggy thing is the food system, and he told me that. There are two jobs I've noticed, and they look pretty original. Even the levelling up/exp system works.

Level Quality, overall, most houses were filled with levels, nice lights, things like that. And the overworld didn't look that bad either. I did find at least ONE blank level, so they get a 6 in this category.

Quests- so far, there's only two that are complete, and the only real good thing about them is the bosses and semi bosses. Most are just puzzle-rooms with baddies. (find the fairies, and such.) - 5


Creativity- I've seen some nice jobs, graphics, uses of light effects, and other stuff. 8.

Storyline - Another "SAVE THE WORLD FROM EVIL DOERS," but there's not much you can do, right? It also has a few nice movie-scenes with it. :) 8

More, bad things, etc. - They've told me they have about 4-5 quests under construction and some events also. I know they plan on adding more things as time passes, so I won't complain about any lackings. Fix the gi-- robot guy please. (quest might not be done, I was just playing around in levels). He doesn't shoot anything like he is supposed to. :(

I'd say you had at least a month's wait. Just work on those quests so that you will be able to fix them up if you go private.

Figures...new system with 3 testers to pass comes out right when we send it in. =/ O well theres 1 down, 2 to go. Hope we get the same reviews as this 1.

Renegade Failed. There was a slight mix-up on the number of points needed to pass. Torankusu thought at first it had enough to pass, but it didn't.

Sorry Renegade team =( But at least you got a decent score, hopefully you'll be able to fix up a few things and pass easily next time =)

I didn't think pw reviewers were allowed to also make playerworlds.. :confused:

Anyway, the renegade team seems impatient.. obviously if there are things you need to work on, you shouldn't be so anxious to get the server online. This is exactly why all these pw's get up and they suck bad because the server just squeaks by and makes it online, then the staff think if it was good enough to get online, that it doesn't need improvements. Thus the reason we have total garbage for playerworlds.

It either goes that way, where nothing is worked on once the server is up, or it goes the opposite, where the people get their pw online and then rebuild the entire thing from scratch.

If a PWA member makes a PW, s/he will not review it.

If a PWA member is staff on a PW, s/he will not inspect it.

It will also be checked thoroughly to make sure there is NO material ripped from previously submitted servers.

Um, but there is obviously going to be a leniancy towards a pwa member. You guys all talk with eachother and are on good terms. That's like judging your best friend on the "best friend" award. You guys judge pw's, if one of you makes a pw, don't you think the others will pass it pretty much no matter what?

no...i think they would be professional enough not to let that interfear!

I think that PWA Team should not be allowed to work on any server, or be part of creating a server. Most people quit graal and stop their server if it fails so how does anyone know that toran isnt ripping from a old reviewed pw?

Nemesis has stated it in a previous thread. It has to pass by two reviewers and an admin before it can be put up.

Why in the hell would I need to rip things from old PWs? I mean. They sucked. That's why they aren't online. :\

I'm not trying to cause trouble or anything, but I truely think that pwa team should not be able to make a playerworld while they are part of the team.

I wanted to be on the pwa team a while ago, but I thought it would be bad since I'm making Oasis. It's just not right.. it's like owning stock in your own company. You have an advantage/edge above all other players. I highly doubt if someone was part of the pwa team, and they submitted a pw, that it would fail.

Professional or not, I don't think it's a good idea at all. :(

he won't be reviewing it though, and i doubt the other reviewers will go easy on him because he is a part of the pwa
