Thats It Im Sick Of This Message System
 
Its supposedly been removed, BUT it still shows up on my screen lags me like hell and wont go away even when i say '/message off' and '/m off' it comes back when i reconnect and its just goddam annoying. Learn to test something.... now i have to find an RC and ask them to remove all the strings from my account.

this is all i see when i log on... and i cant move. and im using a 1.5ghz on a cable modem FFS!

Ouch. I bet I can guess how that happens:

Cybnext scripted it to do something like "for(i=0;i!=sarraylen(client.message);i++) showimg blah;" so it prints everything in the string array. In other words, it assumes that the array size is <=5. Presumably old entries are deleted as new ones arrive. The trouble comes when you have a million entries in the array, as is the case with you. I've no idea why it doesn't delete them, though. It's all down to the fine details of the scripting.

He should just add something to the created part of the weapon which deletes any messages from last time you played. It should fix that specific problem.

have a /clearmsgs command that clears the user's messages. Really simple, the Providence message sys uses one.

You should come back and re-script it so it works like the message bar you made a while ago.

I have no idea what mini messages are and I asked Cybnext he doesnt know either but you can turn them off maybe those are minimessages now instead of messages or something I dunno @_@

Ok, now when you connect, it should delete all of the previous strings. I also added 'clear messages' so you can clear them at any time.

I'm sorry for the amount of problems I caused with this message system.:(
