God Relics
We all know relics from the gods are hard to get (Ogma's Hat, Leuc's Armor etc)
I never, see people wearing them. I think I'm the only one wearing the Ogma helmet, but that's probably because I don't have any other helmet. Would it be better to make these relics have better statistics? Since they can't be traded it wouldn't hurt anything. It would probably make people level up their wisdom to obtain these items |

So the relics are all crap, you can get better equipment from crafting. Conqueror said it would be better if you got something based on your wisdom level, rather than grace. This would mean you would actually need to do something to get something good. Here's an example.... Ogma Level 5 - 5% resistant to Poison, -5% resistant to Magic Level 10 - 10% resistant to Poison, -10% resistant to Magic Level 15 - Attuned: Missiles Level 20 - 15% resistant to Poison, -15% resistant to Magic Level 25 - Attuned: Wounding Level 30 - 25% resistant to Poison, -20% resistant to Poison Level 35 - Ogma's Orc Helmet Relic (possibly a new slot for equipment, God Relic) OR Str+1 Dex+1 increase Level 40 - Poison Fog Spell Level 45 - Cause Smallpox Level 50 - Bracers of Ogma OR Dex+1 Str+1 increase (removed when you leave god) It would be cool for a new equipment type for God Relic imo |

When I used Brigid, I kept the shield and gloves full time (they're gr8 @ shrimps). When I used Leuc, I always used his mail (babby gale, also gr8). I don't know about Ogma's helm's stats, but the relics that I've had access to have been perfectly fine, despite other items (rightfully) trumping them. Unless a lot has changed regarding everyone's base stats and gear, the god relics are functional in their stats. Improving already useable items means making them better, and items like these that are untradeable means taking influence away from commonly traded items. It's not really a matter of debate, that's how things work. If people can get something that works for free, they won't need to purchase something that works. Which to me is a good thing anyway. |

Simply, a god relic slot and you are granted the relic for w.e god when you join them (at this point, it grants no bonus, and obviously you lose older ones when you ditch gods). Then based on your levels, when you pray to your god the same way you would be granted the relic now, it will enhance your relic such as blessing a weapon. You don't need to fix granting some of the broken relics/worry about each god having logical relics. 4. All the perks you said. Levels/working hard vs. lending grace items. Whatever, idk. |
Relics should be used against defending enemy gods, so you have that extra protection against your evil counterpart. rather then using normal stats, and some what rogue mentioned
