First look at battle island dungeons

Yes I will be connecting stuff that isn't..adding torchs etc. Sorry these are the training dungeon. One might be used for a new treasure map. Not sure yet. |
Looks like so much hard work, generating those levels and everything. How did you do it all by yourself?!

Its totally detail less. You could say that you will add torches and stuff later, but thats not what I'm talking about. Those either look like tons of stairs, or just some...simple geometric figures.

have you ever used dungeon generator. thats what you get with random.
|
I only use generators to produce rough shapes of my maps, and I would never use a level generator for a dungeon ^^

true but the actual level generator is more for overworld stuff.
besides not like I couldn't screw around and fix up the maps. |

2) What will be in them? 3) Will you be able to pk inside? |
I hope he adds them around mid-november, after the Halloween period has like died out. I hope new monsters, as well as a few old monsters are added in these dungeons, mainly new ones though. Pking should be there, it wouldn't make sense if you're in rival kingdoms, you want to become strong enough to defeat members of that kingdom, yet there you are, killing with your enemy because you cannot attack them. Besides, dungeons should be lawless, anything goes, if i had it my way, you should be able to pk ANYONE, even pmoders and your own kingdom members (although excessive attacking/killing of your own kingdom members would prolly be seen as treason, except maybie it was disciplinary).

Could the current battle island (which should be named Kaimetsu Isle) be given detail and that stupid kingdom battle mode removed? It seriously is a let down, and an eyesore...

I am working on the terrain issue and I will get them to redo the pking for battle island...let speed be a factor again.
In my opinion if your running irl and a car passes you it passes you..ya don't keep up with it running. So like in irl that is how it should be in game. |
How are you going to determine how much exp a person ought to be able to obtain by training for, say, an hour in your dungeon. Because from what I know about you, you're just going to pull monster selection and monster placement out of your ass.

keep it up Googi and you can do the projects youself. I see a lot of "complaining" and people giving their opinion but again has any of you really volunteered to help?
In fact I have a plan for the dungeons. I won't say anything right now though because I still have to discuss with stefan and bjorn my idea. |

I agree with the name Kaimetsu Isle.
The maps in the first post look like they could use some work on the shaping of things. (ie: 2nd pic, at top, there's too much of a pattern going on there...) It looks like its headed in the right direction, but there's definitly more work than "torches" and "detail" that needs to be done. Rearrange and reshape the walls first. Quote:
