Super Weapon.
Ever been playing on iricia and the game is stalemate?
Meaning nobody is winning or losing and its a constant struggle? My idea is to increase further tension on the battlefield. There is a TEAM kill count system where once the total reaches a certain height the team can vote for which special weapon to be deployed. The players then vote for which base to fire it at. The computer will fire the specified weapon at the specified base. Super weapons include; Air Strike (Big blast radius, planes destroyable) Satellite Beam (Small blast radius, but high damage. chases players, unpreventable) Nuclear Missle (Blast radius engulfs base, then covers it in green slime temporarily. Also harms teammates.) Conditions The points system is like a team shop, Airstrike is the cheapest, then the beam, then the nuke. nukes are expensive and require a lot of kills. Nukes are preventable if the factory (located at spawn base) is destroyed, but it is repairable. Satellites are preventable if you destroy the satellite radar (at spawn base) but this too is repairable. Airstrikes are preventable by shooting down the passing planes. ((They fly low so normal weapons work too)) Warning System Since the weapons hurt teammates a team warning system is activated. On the map a red circle will be shown around the blast area and you will hear sirens, However the enemy cannot see or hear these. I think overall this would be cool, panicing to prevent a nuclear missle hit your comrades barricaded in b1 and so on. |
Im really sorry but I don't want to be playing then be hit by like 10 nukes or something. I want to know my threats are coming I don't want them to be upon me without notice or much notice.

a lot :] but the kill count would have to PROBABLY be suited for the player count like an idea would be if storm = 15 superweapon = 15 x 10 so the superweapon would be able to be used after 150 kills, its a lot but at the same time for the player count, if the game takes awhile, 150 will happen in no time maybe multiply the player count by 10 to equal the needed kills? |
I REALLY like this, mostly cause i like any kinda super weapon warhead

howabout both of the teams sirens go off, make it more realistic

I think that the other team's radar should maybe start flashing red when a super weapon is launched, but it won't say where.

Hmmm may be instead of counting team kills it should count how much time the team captured the bases, so teams with a lot of new players will not be in disadvantage. Question is how the voting should work, if they require different number of kills then some can be activated before others? Or each type of strike is costing the same number kills, but has different impact (the less strong weapons cover more area etc.)
It could also warn that there is a strike coming, but not say which base will be affected |

Good point. Make it a point system then? Instead of killing players gets you points but capturing bases reaps you more. The reason i did not want enemy to know when a strike occurs, is because players at areas such as base 1 will say 'hmm a nuke? lets go inside for 40 seconds or so then.;. Although allowing an additional siren noise for the enemy will let them know they are gonna get owned lol. Voting system The voting system will be a little box that pops up with images of the super weapons (Highlighted weapons are those which the team can afford with the current point count.) Underneath these pictures are numbers, 1-5. highlight the base number and click the accept button and your vote will have been cast. If nobody votes the computer will pick a random weapon and fire at a random base, so make sure you do. The timer will also be on this box for when the vote expires and as soon as you are done with it, the box will disappear and the weapon fired. Also pooper... You won't get owned by 10 nukes as there is a warm-up time for them. You can also prevent them by destroying the factories. Gives you a good reason to attack enemy spawn. |

well dont make the sirens go off until the bomb is REALLY close, so then they have time to say, "HOLY JUMPING JESUS CHRISTMAS BISCUTS! LETS GET OUTA H-" lol the end xD

I love these ideas! Zone wount be dryed out and boring. It can kill anyone even typhoon. This gives teams with less good players a chance so it's not a 1 sided fight. But maby make it so when a player gets so manny kills they get to launch a super weapon. like 20k for nuke 10k for satelite 5k for air drop. Also put it on the hight score boards but list both top players and top teams...

People will find ways to abuse this. I don't approve. I think making more mechs would be more effective.

Yes people will hack it to get unlimited super weapons so make a gp position and give it to trusted people but leave the all event weapons out of it so it won't be takin by power hungry noobs. Make a jail and give them permision to jail people but to keep this from being abused make it so stefan and other people (not sure who) able to ban (wich they alredy are) and make them able to remove people from jail and unable to be locked in by that certent gp. While i'm on this subject. Make updaters that can edit certent things like update it to halloween mode christmass mode ect. Back on subject. makeing more mechs would not be efective without tazers it would be only mechs ans nothing else. If you add tazers to every class it would end up like gw. No guns are ever used just tazers sabers jet and mechs. not counting the candy reapers or beam cuz their almost never used. |

seems you really do need to stop inhaling ;o and we already got a jail colin, apparantly it just needs to be finished up and uploaded onto the game (or so ive heard) more mechs would seriously ruin a planet, gwars was created quite well and has worked out, but im sure you people (when you were around) remember zone wars and how quickly that died people got sick of mechs for it, gwars, however, is well made, so more mechs = a no no |

The fact that it's the only planet without mechs. It's not good leveling or programing it's what it has to stop mechs and that nothing else has mechs. |
Stefan's mech suit would be more effective if it were less powerful than a regular mech.
