I wasn't changing the subject, by the way. :p

Also, do you mean like any updates to the server? If so, yes there were. Alot of them actually.

I don't think you'd like me editing your posts. Also, 2001 isn't what you said it was - that was kinda my point. Please return to your hole.

Did you email him about it?
I've spoken with him before. That suffices.

Besides that, if your standards are so high that they are going to make development impossible, change them too.
No. I refuse to sacrifice the quality of this server.

Wrong-a-roo, unless Gryffon and Excalibur mysteriously disintegrated when I wasn't looking...I'd better check on that.

And this is when it was on GOLD.

Myself and Excalibur have toured the various Classic servers asking if people would play.... literally, dozens of people said they would live on it.

If G2k1 is to be released on the Classic tab, and if the proper things have been done to it mind you, then I believe it will have the potential to get 400+ players.

The key of Graal is G2k1, if it is released the oldbies will come back and the newbies will flock to it.

It will be on the Classic Tab

Plus we'll have FAQ

That was when it was reopened. every new server when it goes public will have 100+ players on it. They want to see it, but then just like Enigma, Bravo, and beforehand Graal2001, it will fail, and will probably be taken down. so just put it back on tab, leave it up like Classic so you can all go play if you feel like it-but then their'ed only be 30 players max on it, but thats better than nothing.

It won't be back to the way it was, ever. Give up.

Umm, Graal2001 had like 400+ people playing it and it had a constant 100 or so every day. We can achieve that again.

Emily_Cruddas 12-01-2004 04:31 AM

I only quit when i had to buy a new home, comp and whatnot, But yes, i'll be there all day every day to get everything and then some....Maybe even a playerhouse.

Regarding my online time/activities: I'm currently not online every day. It happens that I have several classes and a busy schedule. I'm on enough to log on dev, to read emails + forum PMs, to answer questions, and to coordinate the actions of my staff.

You have never sent me an email that you looked at it and whatnot. Not once have you told me how it can improve for the better and what I should do if I wan't it for this "g2k1 quality". If you have a busy schedule, then someone else should be in charge since you are not always around to oversee the project.

Would that be the hole you found your management skills and/or excuses in? If so, I'll politely decline.

There is no server. It is just a bunch of levels and scripts sitting dormant.

Two people aren't going to run a server. This is why your manager skills are so suspect.

Yeah, for two weeks.

Go job if you can get that up regularly.

You fail to understand how G2k1 works...

Thank you for the chance. I'll send an e-mail your way shortly with some recent level screenshots and some storyboard tidbits. It may be a few days since I have no internet connection, but I can put the files on my thumbdrive and deliver it from home to work.

Side Note: I see nothing wrong in the way you manage your team. You shouldn't be vilified because you have a life and other responsibilities outside of Graal2001. That is completely understandable to me and I would hope (I will safely presume you already do) as a manager you would look at your team members the same. Your job is to keep the team informed and prioritized with current information and tasks. All the manager has to do is just as his title entails... manage. ^_^
