I don't want to look stupid but don't you people think that Graal2001 needs more different staffs? I'm not saying that the current ones should be replaced, but some new staffs would be good, the staffs are always the same. That'd accelerate the process too.

No. I thought they both explained their points successfully. I was simply showing my gratitude and applauding their relentless efforts. To what caliber this expectation will end at, I do not know. They sure do make it all sound worth while though.

Yes... diversity brings about change. When you have different people in a mix then you have new grounds for fresh ideas waiting to be born.

If you would like help with levels and storyboarding then I am your man! Please let me know if you would like the help. I've always believed in G2k1's survival. You can't listen to the rubbish these pessimist feed to you. G2k1 will rise above the ashes!

Based on what I have received so far and seen, I would be interested in having you on the team, if nothing else than to give input. Please send me an email and we can work something out.

That said, I would like to thank those of you who (instead of condemning Graal2001 before it's even had a proper chance at a revival - and, no, it hasn't had a proper chance at one) are willing to take a step forward, rather than backward. "Waste of server space"...I'm even more disappointed in you than I was before, VT, and I was very disappointed in you before. It's cool that you don't like me very much, but I don't think it's too much to ask for you to not criticize everything involving me as a result.

Regarding applications: I received one application from LordMatt, which was already once-before rejected. I'm not going to suddenly change my mind about his application just because I want progress on Graal2001. My standards are unchanging, guys. They're high, and that's tough.

Regarding my online time/activities: I'm currently not online every day. It happens that I have several classes and a busy schedule. I'm on enough to log on dev, to read emails + forum PMs, to answer questions, and to coordinate the actions of my staff.

I'd say 11 minutes.

How long have you had the server? Honestly, I think by NOW you should have SOMETHING.

And yes to weekly updates.

Please. You haven't been taking any steps, forward or backward.

It's not my fault that 2001 is what I said it is. If you don't like what you're hearing, change it instead of complaining about it.

Did you email him about it?
Besides that, if your standards are so high that they are going to make development impossible, change them too.

You don't have any staff.

zell12 11-30-2004 07:09 PM

Lance has been on alot now and IS doing something. Like he said, he wants people to help -- I know I could use it -- but they are not up to his standards. How can you guys say he is not moving foward, when in fact, he is?

Also, anyone who wishes to help myself with the levels, and you have been rejected by Lance, or you don't think you are to his standards, please email me and i'd be happy to help you and give you tips. Please don't IM me on aim or msn about this stuff, because most of my time online is going straight into my studies or into Graal2001, and i'm only doing this as a favor. :)

My email is [email protected]

Crono 11-30-2004 07:31 PM

excalibur, can you post a sample of what style is expected, etc?

for the better of everyone of course :p

zell12 11-30-2004 07:33 PM

Well, I'm going to have a chat with Lance again tonight, because you and some others have reminded me of some things. So i'll discuss that with him and get back to the forums with a nice description and some screenshots mabey.
That good?

xAndrewx 11-30-2004 07:41 PM

xAndrewx 11-30-2004 08:06 PM
