Think before you speak.
And yes, Raven Bloodvayen is also known as him I believe.
If R0bin leaves... I'll be so lost and screwed... If R0bin will help me rebuild it, then I'm willing to give it another chance.
Kind of funny, I worked so hard to make the NPC's unhackable... but I never thought I'd have to protect them from an RC attack...
The thing is Loriel said he came on and changed my npcrights=false one day (WHY he did< I don't know, I'm GST and capable of handling my OWN NPC's!) and it was about a week ago, when I was on vacation. That with a lot of other stupid things let this happen... and it bothers me loriel doesn't ever care =/

Why do these people dislike this game so much?

Yes, it is strange that they would hate Graal, but they have their reasons I suppose. I believe its mostly due to the fact that they can't get their way. They are the kinds of players that throw tantrums if they don't get to have what they want and when they want it. They also don't like having to pay for games or much less other software. They want everything to be free to them and they think we are mindless sheep. I don't doubt that some of the players in Graal are, but that does not mean that everyone is.

-Sab failed to set an IP range for thebluedagger
-thebluedagger's password was compromised
-thebluedagger knew the password was compromised but failed to say anything
-You gave out a few too many rights, it seems.

Lots of factors contributed to this, PS. You can't blame just one without blaming them all.

True, Nobody but 1 person should have server options.

But Loriel is Loriel, GST. If he can't be trusted to leave somebody elses options alone, then he shouldn't be on the GST.

Somebody on a Graal Sactioned NPC team should be able to be trusted. It's not ProjectShifters fault in the least, he prabably had thier npc rights limited a good deal. Doesn't help if there is no npcrights enabled.

he's at fault for not being able to replaced the NPCs with backups

No one on the GST should have ANYONES serveroptions rights unless they are the Owner/Manager of that Server.:\

Well, it happened. PS gets what he deserves for not taking the proper precautions.

I disagree. If some server wants help fixing them, or just decides that the people are trustworthy and should have that right in case something goes wrong, that is their decision.

So your calling me at fault, or maybe, just maybe, it was PS's, or even R0bins.

I remember when i made more than 150 levels to the new Gaia,so Trashsoul deleted everything. :(

Nick1988 08-20-2003 03:25 AM

It's unfortunate that this happened, but it wouldn't have been a big deal if he had just backed it up.

No, he was just pointing out that multiple entities and situations caused this to happen while PS was only focusing on Loriel changing the server options.

He still should have made a backup, ESPECIALLY since he knew that he would be away for a week. He should be blaming himself for the loss rather than the actions of others. Yes, had they not interferred and done their jobs properly, the vulnerability would not have occured, but PS only has himself to blame when deleted work is unrecoverable.
