Sony took its half of Project Atlantis, mainly the CD idea, and made the PlayStation. There was no "ripping off" involved. I still have a picture of the SFCD somewhere...

I've got pictures of it too. You said "Sony took its half of Project Atlantis, mainly the CD idea, and made the PlayStation.", but you forget they took the console model too...

Burn a CD for Graal that's self-booting, then if a new version comes out
then just throw away the old Graal CD and reburn the new version, ta-da.

It's how I emulate NES! :D

Heh. I don't emulate. If I don't own the game or if I don't rent it...I don't play it...Not anymore, anyways.

I think it'd be much more practical to port it over to Dreamcast via DreamLib, and make an ISO of the files available for download, so people could burn their own copies and save Cyberjouer the cost of publishing and distributing the game.

Not true either. The PlayStation 2 hard drive will include a port for a broadband ethernet adapter, allowing anyone with DSL, Cable, or similar broadband connections to play online, regardless of provider.

Actually I read in a Playstation magazine that they are preventing that from happening(can't quite remember how), but they are allowing only IPs from certain ISPs to be allowed into their gaming world.

Uh, no they didn't. The Super Famicom CD looked almost identical to the original Super NES/Famicom. The PlayStation looks NOTHING like the SFCD...

DreamCast isn't selling any more consoles, so that isn't a very good business idea.
GameCube would be a good idea, or X-Box, because they're both new systems(fresh out of the business world), and they are good systems.

I don't trust magazines. I prefer to stick to official Sony press releases and so forth. Which is where I got my information about PS2 broadband.

They made the CD look black, ooo aaa, they still stole a whole bunch from Nintendo.
If my scanner was working, I would scan the entire essay about how Playstation ripped off Nintendo.

Wrong again. Sony still has alot of surplus Dreamcast systems in stock. That's why the price is dropping to 50 dollars soon, because they need to kill off their stock and get out of the hardware market for good. Dreamcast still sells, though, and sells quite nicely.

Yes that is what Sega did here in germany,
low bandwidth (28k) and more than double the costs

Just some clarification on New World: Just how different are the graphics? I just thought they had a more advanced tileset, similar to the one Konidias made, but Stefan's making it out to be a lot more....

I'm talking about the console itself. The Super Famicom CD CONSOLE looks almost identical to the Super NES/Famicom, except that it's missing the console port. However, PlayStation, even in the early development models, looked totally different from the Super Nintendo. The only thing I can see that PlayStation ripped off of Nintendo is controller design, and that's vague.

Yes, but:
A. Dreamcast is much easier to port code to, and much easier to develop for.
B. You don't have to pay anything to develop Dreamcast stuff
C. It would simply be an alternative way to play Graal, available as a free download.
D. Many Graalians own Dreamcasts.

ok, now that is complete BULL because I heard on the news that DreamCast announced that they stopped making consoles due to the fact that they were going broke AGAIN.
They still make games, yes, but not consoles.
You seem to disagree with whatever I have to say...grrr...
