You have the right attitude about this, Lance may be working on the Dev server and although it would be nice of him to come on the main server and let us know some stuff he may just be working hard on Dev.

I've noticed a lack of Cheetos around to, I bet that's where all the main staff have vanished to, they are prolly trying to get some stuff completed for release.

I had alot of expectations for the server, most of them were met. I actually was having fun, because until 2001 was revived, I hadn't played Graal for a while. Then, the old commmunity started coming back for 2001, and suddenly, it became fun again. I was enjoying pking with Leet.

But the truth is, most players want something to work for. There wasn't really anything worthwhile to buy, and so the server died. And I don't think these players will come back, even if given the chance. Why? Because their time could be better spent elsewhere on a more "stable" server. I was enjoying 2001 until people stopped playing. :(

But anyway, RIP 2001. It was fun while it lasted.

I still enjoy 2001. Whether or not it gets revived with new releases doesn't really matter to me.

I personally do not. However, speaking to more than just a few people who do have acess to the dev server, nobody has been on in a few weeks, and that nobody includes Lance as well.

Lance tried to release the server before, it failed. I blamed the lack of roleplaying kingdoms and whatnot.

This time he took a hint and released kingdoms along side of the actual server release, however it was in tag only and not actually in kingdom levels or anything.

The fact is that these kingdoms were completed: Kaytu, Bellasera, and Zormite. Which leaves Malenth as uncomplete. There wasn't even a level made. On release a tileset was being worked on (atleast to my knowledge). I promised that when I got the tileset then the castle and the actual kingdom levels would be completed in less than three days. Two weeks past and no tileset was given to me. I went to the people who were organizing and doing the tasks which were set before them. From Lance I got a "Bug Drae about it", from Drae I got a "I have a ton of other assignments given to me that I have to complete for the server". I approached Lance about this situation a while ago knowing that there wasn't ever going to be a Malenth tileset made - I made the suggestion that I just make the castle and add a dark light source over the entire level, of course this idea was put down by Lance.

So I tried. I was online daily and I interacted with those in my kingdom - that is why Malenth is the largest kingdom (and probably still most active kingdom) to grace the new 'Bomy Lands'. Minoc was online when he was able to be (he lives in Israel after all) and Shawn was on Graal Kingdoms more than 2k1 :\

So if we look at all the work that has been done with Graal 2001 we find this list (I made it from all the knowledge of comparison from the old 2k1 to the new Bomy Lands)

• New Train Graphics
• Different Farming Yields
• Overworld became a gmap
• Cops and Robbers was finally fixed
• Zormite, Bellasera, and Kaytu Kingdom levels were made and uploaded
• Oaster was made (by one of my goons) and installed. A new job system.
• Antora was redone
• An outpost system was created - One in Santerrian and one in Harmonia: Four to five houses were added and some had insides.
• New kingdoms were added with serverside rights

Forgive me if I left something out, but that's the gist of it.

Yes, because being on GK once or twice to check out the new magic system is definitely more than the Nearly Every Night for Two Weeks that I was on 2K1.

Don't make accusations you can't back up.

Also, you're not the only kingdom that isn't finished. Deal with it. Things will get done when they get done.

They have basically fixed and added all the new things that WONT bring players to the server.

If they stuck to releasing hats/playerhouses/**** on schedual, people wouldn't have left. The problem is that people were making money with hope to spend it on something. That something came too late and people left, your fault staffs :)

I'd RP but my kingdom's levels aren't even online and no one does it along with you.

I was ready to tryout for ET or Police... the server just died.

Man, server has so much potential, I just hate seeing it die.

I've given up trying to revive it though. It's just not worth it anymore.

Then it's a good thing we didn't release. Or rather, we didn't CHOOSE to release. Work was going along nicely, most of our current bugs on Dev had been ironed out an new content was underway.

No, the server was running just fine until you guys broke your promise on releasing everything. People lost faith then and left because they were working for money, but realized "OH HEY, THERES NOTHING TO SPEND IT ON!".

This ironically sounds alot like my Graal Classic threads.
Replacing the manager will not happen, pateince is a requirement, else you get nothing, etc.

I would actually be HIGHLY pissed off if attention is thrown at 2k1 and NOT Classic.

Well if something did he needs to reappoint a manager so we can start doing **** on there again this is really pissing me the hell off.

It's my opinion that, upon releasing the server, new people should have been hired. Every time 2k1 is released, the staff go MIA. If we hired some of the new players, we would have increased the playercount, their friends may have stayed, and so on.

i havent seen a staff on there in over 2 weeks

Solution A:

Transfer the playerworld management to someone who will (hopefully) try to actually revive the server.

Solution B:

Delete the playerworld and let it rest in peace.

That would be a total waste of all the time put into the project.

Well that was fun.

It lasted 2 weeks though, so I lost the pool. Oh well.

Sadly this has not worked out the couple times that we have tried to save this once great project :(

This is the second time the playerworld has been "revived" and it failed again. Let people have their memories and just let the server go.

Well why aren't we able to elect a manager? We all pay Stefan money to work for us and make sure everything is running smoothly. I know of one person who has played graal as long as I have and knows a lot about the server and he wouldn't mind being manager but Stefan ignores him. Don't get me wrong, he has the ability to manage it, but the person we PAY to do this ISN'T doing anything about it as it seems. !pissed!
