Just disabled v2 on Zone because everyone who was using it was trial (at least the accounts I have checked).
I don't see how v4 input can be slower, it uses the same code for those things. The scripting has been changed slightly, but that can be changed, if you have suggestions for improving the movement and shooting.

V4 just seems slower, the freezing time on shooting a weapon seems more accurate, which in this case, is a bad thing. In V3 or V2 using the Lrpulsar strafing would hardly cause a pause between each shot, in V4 the shots freeze you a bit longer.

The freezing time could be reduced then, if it makes the weapons more balanced

What me and Typhoon have a problem with is being faster then the controls allow. Meaning on V2, we might hit space, then hit the up and left key to get away from fire and move to a different position and shoot again, maybe hiting down. But with V4, it being slower then we are, we would have hit down and shot but V4 still thinks we are back at up/left. This causes GREAT inconvenience. Its basically like re-learning how to fight. (I think thats the problem you have, right Typh?)

Basically it has slow reaction time to button presses aswell as freezing time.

I have 3-4 gold/VIP accounts that I'd gladly renew again and again if you would kindly re-add V2. As for what jesse said, it's exactly right. I spent 1,000 hours honing my skill on a server only to have my strategy not work when the new version was introduced. The only problem I see is that V2 you can glitch things. Just take away explosives from V2 and everybody happy.

Exactly, this is the first instance I've ever in which a machine has a lower reaction time than us. At any rate, playing V4 after you spent so much time on V2 is like, well, doing Weed after you've done crack for 10 years. Or like, killing 200 people with a plastic sword, when you used to do it with a lightsaber(Real one, no K-Mart BS). Or, heh, dare I say, trying to kill Becan on GK with your punches as a pure mage(Though I managed to do that once...or did I dream it?)

It's like being a paid assasin, and having to use a shotgun at sniper range or trying to sneak cocaine past a crack dog. It just doesn't work well unfortunately...

That sounds more like bad internet connection too me, and thats usually caused by downloading lots of stuff while i.e. playing an online game.

v4 has always been much faster and responsive for me so I cannot really believe that you are faster with v2, the only thing that could be different is freezing time because v2 handled the list of script objects in a different way.

It must be the freezing time then, that's a major issue. The freeze time stops us from turning and shooting another direction very fast. In any way, zone combat should stay the same as it is in V2. :)

I download nothing, have nothing running aside from graal, that includes explorer.exe itself. I've also have a decent DSL connection.
