Reduced means "minus", or in 5th grade terms, "take away". If you "take away" a negative, it's a positive.

If your power = y, it would be y - (-10), which would equal y + 10, or, your power + 10.

Reducing by negative 10 is just increasing by 10.

I question your ability to make decisions for Era if you can't even move numbers around.
