Thee Economy/guns/era life

ever since the "balancing" it seems that prices have dropped and some have raised but overall the economy has gotten worse. the reason i say this is because there are a lot of weapons that were selling then stopped or became "unsellable" i.e flak/bow/ss/pl9/scythe. some weps were good and cheap like ivories but u dnt see those being used at all. u dnt see a lot of guns being used simply bcuz they suck.

now that the guns are "balanced" i think all the guns should be taken out of shop. that wud probably get some stuff circulating. u know ppl wanting 1 of a kind guns and all. also raise the prices of flak/ls/bow/flamer/mvp items or take them outta shop.

just an idea. i thought it wud do some good.

honestly if they wanted rare guns they would just auction 3 of a kind guns ect
like they use too. people cant sell cuz era depends on people ot mine or pick flowers ect
once new people quit making money theres no new money in the economy

i notice alot of people want cash or a mil for a gun

Era should not be about an "economy". If anything, we need more guns in shops and the prices need to be lowered...a lot.

Except for a few event items (such as the Halloween Scythe), every weapon should be obtainable through some shop.

Partially disagree,
In an ideal Era, yes... every weapon should be drastically lowered in shops and be made available to everyone, by some means.

However, that ideal Era can't be seen without a reset. The impact of such a drastic shift to any player who obtained an item in these, or harsher conditions would be unwarranted.

However, In a reset, the slate is clean and such an approach would definitely be a wise route to go (amongst other things).

Even better idea, lets just delete all the guns and stick with the basics (Uzi, Shotgun, Ak47).

Can't add guns to shops until you reset. Many players who own the current items that aren't in shop paid a lot for them, and if you add them in shops you're screwing over those players.

Reset has to occur so everything is wiped. I do agree though once there's a reset that every gun should be in shop and able to be purchased.

"Prices and availability subject to change." Its a common sense practice going on in marketing for eons. You cannot guarantee that something will always be rare and expensive, just for the sake of a few people that wanted the best, first. Do you think the people that bought the first PC's or digital televisions were screwed cause they paid thousands for something you payed a few hundred for?

Resetting Era should be a last resort. While the idea of it sounds good in the beginning it normally causes more hate and discontent than restructuring what is already there and making a new path. No economy is ever perfect for very long so just make the best of what you have and try to move forward.

lol u think the items in shop didnt fk people over already. they added 18 guns to shop w/o a reset the only reason you saying that is so you dont lose money for yo mp5n add every gun to shop..era has had like 4 resets all bcuz of the same reason the economy so having another reset would do nothing but lead to another reset and so on.

You've played Era for like 3 months. I doubt you understand the reasoning behind the previous resets.

The 'nerf' took into account the guns that were added to the shop and was done accordingly, rarity was a basis for some stats. Adding more guns to the shops would require a changing in gun-stats and accurate price ranges to balance it out. (Which is harder than you think when we talk about staff that never merchanted or even PLAYED Era before.)

I don't get what an Mp5 has to do with it though; it looks like you just threw that in there because you don't have a real argument.
