PK in TradeTables

People seem to have a new hobby:

Getting some Cyclops and Demons into Tables,
to lame idling people and take their drops.

Please stop this and prevent this codewise x-x

Whats the problem with idling?
If everyone on gk stops idling you can nearly close the server down.

Shouldn't this be in the GK section?

People shouldn't idle in the trade room, idle in your house or something if your going to idle.

Well, an idle player is the same, contribution-wise, as a player that's not there. They just make the player-count look higher. I doubt they'd ever close GK down even if it was in shambles and with no players because then they'd only have Zone left for gold. As I remember, G2k1 was on gold for a long time after it died.

Oh, and I don't think anyone is saying there is anything wrong with idling... except the fact that you're taking a risk when you do it.

In some ways they're worse.
For one, they throw off the playercount. If a bunch of people are online idling, staff can say "well, we have this many players, so GK can't be that bad," but if the idlers would stop idling and we have 0 players on for a good portion of the day, they have to admit "no one is playing GK..."

Or if the staff has somewhat of a brain (which they do, believe it or not), then they would actually look at the players that are on, and not just look at the player list and mark GKs reputation down i the books. Its obvious whenever someone is idling, they are in the same room for a long time and/or have (Ctrl + A ) on.

I fail to believe that Stefan or Bjorn do such a thorough investigation to see how many people are playing GK.

And it seems they're the only 2 (give or take) with power to fix GK.

The only next thing I can see in this is trust. Which I would relate more to choice.

And if they're choosing to make poor decisions, then there's not much else to it.

THIS HAS BEEN AN ISSUE (NOT REALLY LOL) FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS AND IT'S NOT GETTING FIXED ANY TIME SOON.

YOU SHOULD DO LIKE THE REST OF GK AND ADAPT.

IE GET A HOUSE OF YOUR OWN AND IDLE THERE. OR SIMPLY IDLE IN ANY OTHER PLACE THAN THE TRADE, WHICH SEEMS TO BE THE PRIMARY TARGET OF IDLE-LAMERS.

I would hate to see how you guys would react if cauldron bombing was added back. The trade tables would never be safe then.
