I'm also running into problems. I need to get the movement script working in gscript2 and it's holding me up on completing other projects. I need to get Stefan or someone to take a look at it and see how to fix the loop limit being exceeded.
Right now I'm working on the jobs. I've made new gfx for the mine rocks, minerals, pickaxes, hammers, and I've also started scripting the new mining stuff. It's going to have a sort of accuracy system and you can get combos to break the rock faster, and the different pick axes have different levels of accuracy. They also no longer break.
I've also touched on the other jobs... I've made multiple directions for the fish, new fishing rod gfx and hook gfx, and I've scripted a movement system so that the fish swim around under the water (you see them as shadows on the surface). There will also be a different method for fishing, which won't wear your fingers out.
As for farming/baking. I've made new wheat and scythe gfx. You'll now have to cut the wheat before you take it. The wheat grows over time by itself however. The baking job will also be changed. There will only be one bakery and you'll be able to bake all sorts of things in it, like bread, cakes, pies, cookies, etc.
For farming I've made new shovel, water can, and seed bag gfx. I still need to remake the apple tree and make some other plants to grow. The way you go about farming is also changing.
There will also be new ganis for everything as well as new sound effects.
I'm also putting together some background music for ambience. You'll have the option to turn it off or on of course.
I'm aiming for beta testing some time during the month, and then release at the end of the month.
