In my opinion, there is no excuse for not having the transaction ID.
It's just common sense to save it.
It's no different then saving a receipt for anything you pay for.

I only save receipt for things with insurance on. But I do agree with Darlene about saving the transaction ID, if you didn't, you're the blame and no one else.

I'm sure parents save the transaction ID when they buy a Graal account for their child

I would hope so. If they don't, it's their own fault if they don't have it if needed.

I'm not saying to take down the system, as it has it's benefits, but players need to be aware of what can happen if they aren't prepaed when they protect their account.
No, I'm saying that I disagree with not liking the system. I worded it funny I suppose.

No, I meant that I like the way it is. They have to have some way to make sure it's really the person.

I dont think his complaint is against the system, but at not having an explanation of the system, so that people dont needlessly lose their accounts.

I had no idea about transaction IDs the last time I upgraded, and no idea I'd need mine. My account was formerly set with the email of my dad, and it sent him the email. I didn't read it, and he just deleted it.

However, I was able to get my email changed without it because I have an active subscription, I've been using my two PCIDs for several years, and I had access to the original email (my dad's).

Oh trust me, that doesn't work (unless Graal's policies changed dramatically). Two of my accounts got hacked awhile back, but I got their e-mails back in a week, but I didn't have their trans ID.

I spammed a support ticket with jail history records (primarly jail evasion records that connected my accounts or logs that said I own this or that account) that proved I owned the accounts, staff testimonies (primarily from the Manager of UN who knew I owned them), but they still wanted the trans ID even though my large ticket pretty much proved I owned the accounts ;o

Crono1508 will become famous soon enough
Don't visit graal hacking sites and you shouldn't have to worry about your account getting stolen in the first place.

Not necessarily. They managed to get a list of every email & password (MD5'd, though) of all the users in graal.net once.

I guess what he's trying to say is state a warning that if anything happens and you need to remove the PCID lock that you need to present your transaction ID for the account.
