I've never seen a robe other than a debug item in some database, and that "robes" craftable at the igloo town, which work just as a cape does.
Sounds funny that a 250kg(?) weighted heavy plate doesn't cap, but a cloth robe does, even if it is slightly.

Anyways, uppon all of that, it is been say'd that this game pratically dont has any class system. There are many selective classes, yet it doesn't make a difference.
Nontheless, there is still a little bit of sort of classes, that doesn't make this game a whole close fight melee butchering. Mages and warriors, while even those two are mixed up. Still there are people focused more on training theyr magic abilitys and seting up a mage equipment, while others focuse on the melee stuff.
To "fix" that class "mass" it is far beyond any help. But there could be at least a little support towards mages, not even powerwise, just dont leave the mages starving.
That a warrior outruns a mage in a 500kg+ equipment, if the mage wears mage rings instead of war rings, well be it be.
But at least be so kind and let the last resort of mages have a few robes to pick from. Even if its those "stupid" recolors like that mage hats, that come in all rainbow colors.
But have a few well made good looking robes, with a little stats on them.
Like
+1 pow
+1 pow +1 magic -1 strenght
+1 magic
And a priests robe with a possibly wisdom bonus.
As if it wasn't enough to leave out the last semi class in next to every spar/ exp/ dungeon event, even forced to use warrior outfits, suggested to use 250kg heavy platemails which doesn't even allow proper casting.
