I think it was a stupid gani, it got really annoying. I won't miss it.

However, the Peyton talk I will miss. It was like, my favourite conversation topic in mass.

when you remove one "offensive" gani from the list then it starts to trickle down until they all get removed. you suddenly decide what is right and what is wrong, and it's ridiculous. why don't you ban the people who decide that they are offended by it?

Not sure since i'm not a scripter, however, is it possible for people who are offended to just click a button to disable the gani?

Just remember that Management and Certain Players were upset about the abuse of the ability to wiggle your character's body back and forth. Which didn't even portray the action very well.

So this isn't exactly something new.
I can remember wandering the grottoes of Classic and randomly coming across pairs of players rapidly A+directionaling a few times.

I'm essentially scarred for life.

I payed to play Graal and have all of its features.

The fact is, they shouldn't have been put on the server in such a manner as they were. At first I blamed the management who allowed it to happen, but at this point I blame myself for not paying attention to it, and not removing it off the bat.
And Shift+X isn't offensive? My people are jeopardized every day by Shift+X'ers.

Riddle me this: If it didn't portray the action very well, why were people "offended" by it and it was removed?

maybe you should be mad at the people who complained rather than the staff for removing it

Ultimately it was the decision of the staff. If there were enough people complaining to have it removed it's more likely that a verbal minority wish to maintain it.

However, it's all pretty ridiculous - a "disable" button would have been most appropriate.

i really doubt that there was a lot of people complaining about it; if you played UN you'd see it being used all the time. this whole situation isn't important, and there shouldn't even be a thread about it.

I think that it's not breaking any rules, amirite?

Shouldn't of been removed mostly because of the fact that it's only offending, if you interpret it that way.. and that just falls back on the own players fault, rite?
