In search for the modern....

Hello everyone, I am currently managing Project Noctorious. Noctorious is currently a modern server in development, which has progressed fast, but without one real route planned.
Up to this moment, the server, as it is could be used to create one of those random modern servers which doesn't stand up in the crowd, So I came here, to ask you, my fellow graalians, what things would you like to see in a modern server?

What things could keep a player entertained?

What things could add up to the gameplay, What things would make a random modern server, into something unique?


I would really appreciate any ideas, things that you think would be great to see on a modern server and that would make noctorious more.. well notorious...

Modern Server + Proper language = headasplode

In all seriousness though, you seem more intelligent then the average person who wants a modern server. If I were you I'd work with a central theme that you like from a different video game, and then try and make it work for graal. Afcourse you need the standard things like jobs and cool tiles.

Jobs, need to be interesting. Not just spamming buttons. I really liked 2k1's bread baking thing, you just ran up and down and milled it, but there was graphical progress. I would do something along those lines. If you cant remember 2k1, shame on you.

I dont do modern servers well, but I would prevent things like extreme differences in more expensive guns. what Era has seems to be overpowered guns and it forces people to play with "this" gun. You want verastility, not a mass of people who look the same.

Cant think of anything else on the top of my head bud, sorry.

I think I am getting what my target should be like... I will still have to brainstorm on it..
Your idea of what guns should be like, diversity instead of power, seems very interesting, and to some extent it could help have a balanced economy on the future.. I will most definitely have that on my mind while I develop Noc.
