In concern to the LAT Contest, lets just say it was a failure.
Due to, once again, my poor judgement in time, and outside reasons, like
the OLE being broken, lack of organization from my part, and lack of communication from my part... The LAT Contest died, this time around.
Pros:
One person was hired.
The tileset was fixed up slightly.
I know how I can improve the contest programs.
Many people wanted to try it.
This can be used as a server event, best level in 24 hours.
I know I need to fix up the OLE with a function like this easier...
Possibly accessed outside of the actual weapon script.
Cons:
No one really 'finished' and I feel like I've failed the inspired people wanting to do the contest. Eventually they lost interest and stopped coming on. Some of those who did not lose interest couldn't work due to the OLE being ruined.
For the future:
I may as well make the levels work as links. I've been having problems with the boxes... that can be fixed easily, but links would be less laggy...
Have the contest only last a month. Organize it and have instructions already planned out. Keep names and emails together as well as room numbers.
Anyway, I'm sorry I've let many of the contestants down,
I can only blame myself for the results.
Hopefully next time will go better.
P.S.:
Also, for some strange reason in the last month,
I've had three people apply for the contest that
started three-four months ago...
I'm not sure how they are being directed to his. :X

But you understand that people without any experience were able to join and do the contest right? I think some turned out alright... Needed work, but alright.
