~Gang Events Topic~

Make either pre-defined or buildable gang-bases, give gangs advantages for having a bigger base. Always able to raid a base but can't capture or permanently damage it unless its one of the set times for gang war?
Kinda like WoE in Ragnarok I guess... xD

you're right. it won't be the same to people who have been playing for years and years. it's extremely difficult to entertain a group of players who have been doing the same damn thing over and over for 5 - 10+ years. which is why era needs a big change in how the game is played and needs new players.

The 15 Sweep. I don't think Gang Wars was hosted. There was some Gang drama with the Trill Family, so Gang Events ended earlier than expected or something.

Due to mass amounts of gang applications coming in each week, and everybody wanting their own gang, creating a gang is no longer 100% open for anyone to do.

In order to create a gang you must have 1,000 gang points in your inventory.

Creating a gang will NOT cost you these points, but only act as a requirement.

The 15 were given without a doubt a bit of favoritism from swift, we (TriLL Family) refuse to play in events that are biased.

If you need mini-games inside of a game you're doing something wrong.

Work the fun/favourable aspects of gang events into the actual gang system or even just the server in general and PKing as a whole could be improved and you'd never need to host gang events again.

So, in your opinion, pretty much every graal server has been doing it wrong from the beginning, since pretty much all of them have had events?

Most servers have events that are substantially different from the server's actual gameplay.

Era's events are almost all just doing things that people should be doing in the wild: raiding, sparring, etc.

I know he's specifically talking about gang events, but the statement "If you need mini-games inside of a game you're doing something wrong." is pretty general.

This week felt kind of unorganized/weird, so I dunno much about what happened. I just know that those guys won MVPs. I don't even know if Gang Wars was hosted.

Edit; Yeah, Staff Rented weapons should be disabled in all PK Events, I think that could allow you to unban the AA12 from Events.

Staff should not be using the rental system unless it's to test a gun. If that's the case though, then I've disabled it to be safe.
