I've posted this many times and i'll post it again, the problem isn't the gelat shop, it's what's in it and how players can access them. Selling exclusive guns in the gelat shop that offer different performance to the guns that normal classes can get is not ok. You may be able to get away with it on the iServers, where there's a mass amount of players with low gaming experience, but not with the old Zone community.

To everyone else, the above is also probably the reason why we won't see Zone come back unless it's iZone and you're playing through Facebook.

On Classic and Era for iPhone/Facebook you can stuff by farming or jobs and buy the same items as everyone else.

The Gelat shop is a significant problem plaguing Zone. It provided kill-all options that prevents players from fairly playing the game. Imagine fighting a war where you have a suit of armor and a sword, and the enemy has tactical jetfighters. That's the extent of the damage that the Gelat shop is creating. We don't propose the removal of the Gelat shop, just the option to alter its contents to balance it so all players have an equal chance on the battlefield.

Also, in regards to Facebook Zone, that platform is likely to be extremely slow compared to the Gv6 client. If you intend to release it on Facebook, wouldn't it make much more sense to just LINK it to a faster client?

From I understand, Zone PC is being abandoned for the iPhone/Facebook/Client server all in one and the minigame for iEra was only a rumor.

I would like to also bring up the point:

If you let us have free reign over Zone and all aspects of its development, what do you have to lose? You've got ZERO players! If anything, you should be all for this option, mainly because you could start acquiring more income from it!

The difference is that the things which you buy on Classic are purely "for fun" and aesthetical. You don't, for example, get a stronger sword for sparring. Everyone is on equal ground.

On Zone this changes, people pay money to buy powerful weapons. This is not right.

I like this Idea. You have really nothing to lose

Let them do and try it. When it wont change after 3 month you can just shut it down or make iZone or whatever.

Why it isnt enough time? Dont they just want control over the gelat shop thingy for Zone? When PPNL or Pez or whatever made so much damage then just load a backup....

Yeah... last time I heard backups don't exist for Zone.

I agree. Stefan should just let you build up a legit development team and try your luck at at least boosting the playercount. Not really convinced he gives a **** about PC Zone anymore though...
