Question Is the iPod Touch worth it?

I always had a strong curiosity about Graal being on the iPod Touch. I just can't seeing it being that much fun and fast paced as it is for the computer, but then i see that thread about Guilds (i love 'guild life'), and thought about the amount of players i hear that actually play Graal on the iPod Touch, and that sounds very appealing.

Now i really don't like the iPod Touch really, since i have a Droid and it's way better, but i guess my question is to you guys/gals, would you purchase it to play Graal on?

Spending that much money solely for the purpose of using an app that is ultimately entertainment and not useful seems a bit illogical, to put it respectfully. Graal has (or should have) the burden of being made accessible by more than just the iPhone. In my opinion it would reflect poorly on a person to believe otherwise.

Well considering the vast majority (80-90%) of players actually play on iPod Touch, which is much cheaper than the iPhone. It'd be better to ask if the iPod Touch is worth it.

If you only want one to play graal, then you'd better go for a iTouch rather than an iPhone.
I own one but I can say it's extremely expensive(when you buy it, and then when you use it !)

Droid is quite nice by the way, I'm sure they will develop a lot of applications for it.
In a few years, we will all worry about what device to use and which one to choose between them all anyway.

Don't waste money on an iPhone/iTouch just to play Graal on it.

No it isn't. Depends on whether you buy a plan with the iPhone or not.

In the long run, it would still cost you more than 150$

i've had friends with iphones/itouchs, as personally i'm way too poor to have/utilize one, so i only have some marginal usage with the devices. i also do not see how graal on the iphone could be "better" or even on par with PC graal, since it's clear that while the iphone has more players on a single server, it lacks what makes PC graal so awesome: the fact that you're on a PC. sparring and PKing have to be drastically different on the iphone, since that touch screen movement system must be terrible (in my opinion, from all the iphone games i've been able to play, the touch screen movement has never been good). the lack of development ability is also a turn off, as i'm sure there is no way to actually develop for the iphone unless you're on a PC; i can't see you uploading heads and other GFX as well or as easily

PC graal is where graal flourishes, since all of it's potential (or current potential) is realized. what makes graal awesome is that you can log on for 5 seconds and log off just as quickly, without much hassle or distraction from other things you might be multitasking on in addition. the fact that i, and others, have classic accounts also makes it better, since there is no payment for the app or account (or whatever they'll install) and a PC is something i need in addition to playing graal: i see no real use for the itouch or iphone when i can carry my laptop around, or have some other hand-held gaming device. unless you want the iphone/itouch for what it is, not just for graal, then i think it'd be a disappointing buy for you considering you play PC graal, and do not seem to have a need for the other functions

The iPhone is a great piece of technology. Texting on it feels way better than a phone with buttons. I say buy it if you have the money. Only bad side is its on AT&T and I hate those people so much. I need a new phone company.

I bought an iPod Touch for Graal.
iPhone would end up costing more in the long run.

PC servers peak at about 60-70 players now, and cost almost twice as much per month as lifetime iPhone Classic.

I wouldn't purchase an iPhone/iPod Touch for Graal. I don't even play it (I have an iPhone), it's not appealing to me (at least Classic iPhone).

whoever would buy an iphone/itouch just for playing graal on, should probably be admitted into a mental institution.
