i've had friends with iphones/itouchs, as personally i'm way too poor to have/utilize one, so i only have some marginal usage with the devices. i also do not see how graal on the iphone could be "better" or even on par with PC graal, since it's clear that while the iphone has more players on a single server, it lacks what makes PC graal so awesome: the fact that you're on a PC. sparring and PKing have to be drastically different on the iphone, since that touch screen movement system must be terrible (in my opinion, from all the iphone games i've been able to play, the touch screen movement has never been good). the lack of development ability is also a turn off, as i'm sure there is no way to actually develop for the iphone unless you're on a PC; i can't see you uploading heads and other GFX as well or as easily
PC graal is where graal flourishes, since all of it's potential (or current potential) is realized. what makes graal awesome is that you can log on for 5 seconds and log off just as quickly, without much hassle or distraction from other things you might be multitasking on in addition. the fact that i, and others, have classic accounts also makes it better, since there is no payment for the app or account (or whatever they'll install) and a PC is something i need in addition to playing graal: i see no real use for the itouch or iphone when i can carry my laptop around, or have some other hand-held gaming device. unless you want the iphone/itouch for what it is, not just for graal, then i think it'd be a disappointing buy for you considering you play PC graal, and do not seem to have a need for the other functions |
