I don't see them doing much, some of them can get quite annoying as they just seem to zap through the servers and annoy other people.

Yet I do not know everything, so it might just be some background work they are doing.

I've never seen the GGT other then on GK flaunting the tag around or using it for warp powers.. then again, I don't play Graal much :P

The PWA has been doing the majority of the stolen graphics control work for a long time now. Currently however, we do this more on a complaint -> action basis.

We have been lacking on routine inspections mostly due to the recent explosion in the number of playerworlds. For this reason I think somebody to actively report problems would be of great use, but it doesn't warrant any global rights to do that job.

However, the PWA will soon be resuming active routine inspections of -all- worlds, so I think the question we should be asking in this thread is:

What will the GGT do exactly?

I always thought the GFX team accepted or rejected new heads/shields/swords/bodies. Does Graal no longer do that now?

No. The global heads/shields/swords/bodies is even more inconsistent now that there are many playerworlds on different servers.

I abandonded them? No, actually, I had my leave planned. I handed it down to Zen hoping he would perhaps improve it (at the time he was assistant admin), but I'm not sure I've seen much since I've been gone.

Gah. First off, I would like to see the GGT revised. I don't really understand much of it. It's purpose, and the inactivity of the people within it. I love Zen, but really... I only see him active publically once in a blue moon. He could be doing behind the scenes work, but I doubt it. He has IRL problems to deal with most of the time from what I know, and if that's going to affect his work habits, then perhaps some action should be taken. From what I know of you Kawaii, you don't seem to have much online access anymore either. I used to talk to you via a completely different alias, and I heard about some of the random crap you had to deal with. Is it worth it for you to even put the energy into the GGT again? Would you be willing to actually make sacrafices to improve it? If so, more power to you.

Aside from that, my whole preception of the GGT seems baffled. My idea of it was for it to be a resource for playerworlds more so than a moderator. I once brought up the idea of making tutorials for playerworlds, official ones, when it comes to pixel art. I'm a senior within the art community, I'm sure some people agree with me, but my suggestions were not taken seriously. I see the GGT as player resource to help improve the overall quality of the art of the Graal community. The standard seems to be lowering now that Oasis has been abandoned. (Or am I misinformed about that?) It just seems there's a gradual decline in the quality of work. There's a few artists on the forums that stand out that just need a bit more work, but other than that... meh. I'd be willing to put forth the time to make tutorials, provide global graphics for servers, etc, but what's the point if I'm not acknowledged? I'm not going to lie, gratitude is nice to have. Everyone wants it. It's part of Graal. People work to gain experience and reputation. But right now the GGT is just the tightly knit buddy-buddy of Zen and --Chris--.

Anyways, ya. I'm all up for seeing a revision of the GGT if first off you make a format for the priorities and who would be on it. I'll do whatever I can to support you.

It seems like the PWA should really handle this job, just like they handle stolen levels and scripts. To be honest, I feel the GGT is obsolete. If its only job is to check for stolen GFX, the PWA should have jurisdiction on it just like any other stolen property. Someone mentioned that they should make GFX, well then they should work for a server. You don't see the GST going out and scripting for people on request.
