PCID Protection

How does this work? If I protect it on my Mac, how do I allow my Windows computer (or other computers as needed)?

Is there any way to remove the protection (if I have access to the email) or do I need to make a ticket?

I have mine protected and it messed me up because I lost me e-mail. But Anyways.

On the login screen it says IP Protected, either yes or no. Then there will be a button to protect it. So if you try and log in somewhere else you have to accept it though and e-mail, as far as I know.

When you first enable the protection, it will automatically allow all computer IDs that have accessed the account previously to continue accessing it.

When you try to log into the account with a computer that isn't in the allowed ID list, you'll be disconnected saying you need to approve it. And yes, that's done via e-mail (there's a link you click to verify it)

There's no way to disable it normally, but I can do it through a support ticket if ownership of the account can be verified. It would be best if you provide the WEB order ID.

I can also help approve IDs manually if you have a problem. Sometimes people have multiple accounts on the same e-mail and aren't able to use the automated method because the script doesn't support that.

How would I go about removing computers from the protection which have accessed my account before (e.g. my brother's computer)?

If they accessed if before you choose the optional it won't matter.

Which is why I would like to make it so only my two computers are allowed access, not the other computers. I don't think you quite understand what I'm saying.

Choose the option on your main computer. Then you have to allow it on the others computers that you choose.

Make a support ticket and I'll help you with that. Let me know which one(s) you do want allowed if you know the IDs.
