Classic Damage System

I finished messing with it for now, decreasing lag from it dramatically. I'd like to hear opinions from players on servers with serverside hit detection, and also those with clientside hit detection.

The only thing I might be able to improve on now is what direction and how much distance you go when you get hit.

Good job. I'd go so far as to say it should be the basis of all playerworld movement systems - it's intrinsic enough every playerworld should have access to, if not your own movement script, one like it so they don't each have to go THROUGH this over and over again...

Oh god, I almost did the edit instead of quote thing again.

Anyways, I do give access to my movement system to servers that request it (ex. Mana Realms). However, it's up to them to implement it to work on their own server (it's heavily customized)

See, I almost wish The Big Guy Himself would make a generic movement script for distribution with new PWs. It'd be a colossal waste of Stefan's time so to do, sure, but it'd be definitive, and it'd be supported. I'd have opened a server by now if it wasn't for the yawning abyss of scripting from zero.

Well, an older version of my movement class is at graal.net. It has a few bugs.

Also, Classic's movement system is much more dynamic than the default movement system, and even the ones on Zone and Kingdoms.
