Guide: GUI Styles

Step One: Find your theme

Go to http://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?libid=1 and search for a WindowBlinds theme that you want to use with Graal v5 and download it.

Step Two: Delete FILENAMECACHE.txt

If you have Graal open. Go ahead and close it. The go to your Graal folder and find FILENAMECACHE.txt and delete it.

Step Three: Place GUIStyle in proper folder

Keep your graal folder open then go to levels/guistyles/. Paste the .wba file that you downloaded in to here.

Take note that the file name will be the name that shows in your options!

Step Four: Select your theme

Now that you've placed the GUIStyle and deleted FILENAMECACHE.txt, reopen Graal. Press F3, then change your Default GUI Style under the video tab.

Step Five: Share your theme

If you find a good theme. Be sure to post a screenshot and a link to it at http://forums.graalonline.com/forums...ad.php?t=75375

Step Six: Create your own theme

If you want to edit a theme, just open it as zip (or rename it to zip) and edit the files. There is usually an *.uis file which is an ini file listing the image files. You can edit by hand or use a tool like from http://www.stardock.com/products/skinstudio/

Thanks, Vulcan!

Now, if only they didn't resize the start bar so small skins wouldn't get distorted...

If you want to replace your games skin, delete the "toon" skin in your guistyles folder, then take a copy of your favorite skin and rename it to toon. Delete filenamecache, restart Graal, and the skin should work on the game server.

I suggest copying the "toon" skin before you delete it.

Do note that you have to delete FILENAMECACHE.txt every time you add new themes. Graal will not see the new themes unless you do this first!

Its a program and a type of file. The file, is a .wba. Just drag it into levels/guistyles and it will work..You don't really need the program unless you want that style to be a desktop theme aswell. Just search on Google windowblind themes.

Go to the website, and download it. You only get a certain time limit to use it though, unless you buy it, if it is still the same. It isn't free, in other words.

If you're interested in using themes and not paying, I downloaded a uxtheme file that you overwrite Window's file with, and allows you to use more window theme's. Won't let you use wba, but it's better than nothing, even though it's not as advanced as windowblinds.

I bought windowblinds because it is so easy to use, it has lots, and lots of nice themes, you can change the colors of the themes with ease, etc...I had tried other programs and hated them.
