Am I missing something? Everyone here is saying it looks nice, but I thought there was a 'major revision' since what was posted in this thread. I can't remember seeing any screenshots or being able to log on though.

Why exactly is it staff-only? You post no screenshots yet still advertise. If you're going to do the latter without the former, at least open the server.

I didn't bother to look back and am going on memory, but a global something posted it looked nice, b/c he can get on the server staff only or not I imagine. A lot of the "looks nice" was from the map and such, and very previous screenshots, which have been current up to yesterday. We just started redoing stuff yesterday, so unfortunately there really isn't much to show just yet.

Dusty, read response to Rufus, and add:
Nothing that has been redone is even up (the tileset itself is still being worked on for the next few days or so probably), the levels are still being worked on, and an absolute gmap is not even up right now either until the tileset is done, so opening up the server would do absolutely nothing. What is needed is NATs. The levels and gfx are covered between me and decus. Just need systems and stuff to be scripted, like I said in my previous post. I am at a point where I am just not good enough to finish what needs to be done.

Went ahead and opened it up with staff blocks, since there is stuff on the "old" over world that we still dont want people to see so its a surprise. Feel free to roam around, but thats about all you can do, as many of the old systems never got placed back on the levels.

its been locked because theres like 1-2 illegal use of images that will never be replaced, and gfx from Twiggy, Dusty, Beholder, and other content from others that were given to be used on our server illegally from another staff member that we had. That being said, im remaking the whole tileset, i dont have time to explain to random logons of claiming stolen content. Which does include most images ect. All levels were made by me so thats no problem, and some additional gfx.

Content of others without permission is something im not really wanting to deal with. So expect no release of anything anytime soon.

I'm none too happy about this. My quick little run around was more than enough to put me off.

The server is nothing but stolen graphics, unoriginal graphics, and unoriginal ideas. I love Zelda. Graal is great... people want to see something like Zelda IN Graal, but your server is nothing but stolen graphics/ideas/levels from Zelda itself. My biggest problem is mainly that there is absolutely no creativity or originality in this server. At all.

First off, the tileset... it's mostly just resized/refixed graphics from Link to the Past. The tileset is pretty, but it's the least original thing out there. I don't even like that Atlantis is using it. There are also quite a few graphics from the tileset that I'm pretty sure are for the new Atlantis project, and not part of the old tileset. The palm tree I know is from Atlantis and I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to use it. The pyramid tiles as well, I think.

There are a lot of stolen graphics. I already mentioned the palm tree from Atlantis. There are also some from Link to the Past:

Yes, we all want a server to give us a chance to play "Zelda Online" on Graal, but I think if that is ever to be done it should be done right. Be inspired by Zelda, don't copy it. It doesn't have to be Zelda to remind us of Zelda, and I think you have crossed over the very fine line between a copy and a homage.

It's a lovely tileset, some really nice tiles; it's a shame the levels arn't equally as good.

Gee I wonder why it was staff only?! A work in progress MAYBE?! It wasn't done, if it was, we wouldnt be a lowly dev server. Thats why it was locked, b/c of the problems we've had with placeholder images. Levels obviously weren't done either. I got bored and made those dumb zelda copies, it was out of bordom, thats about it. This is why dev servers that are locked dont let people on because they think what they see is a finished product and its not, but some of you people just had to be rude about a locked server trying to hire and then ***** a little.

Guess this is what I get from listening to an idiot and opening a server that wasn't ready just to get a NAT.

From now on, when you log on a dev server, especially one that was locked, don't treat it like its a finished server. That's just retarded.

P.S. Sorry that post took you sooooo long to post up content that is not even being used anymore. Sorry it was basically pointless for you to do what you did. Also read below because apparently it didn't sink in.

Edit: And yeah you got all those screenshots but 1 (the giant tree) from a blocked off area, sooo.................. that should say something. Thanks for posting images and commenting on the stuff that WASEN'T blocked off that, besides palm trees, a tileset that we arn't using (which wasen't ALL "stolen" either, besdies the fact that its a graal tileset that people were given credit to), and that dumb giant placeholder image tree, was all original.

Major revisions take more than a few days. lol.

The server is on staff only again until everything is ready, like I said before. The babies can't cry until its done now.

Now with rudeness aside towards people who are rude and dont want to even attempt to understand a dev server that is staffblocked everywhere and was staff only hours before, we do need nats. All the hype for our original ideas that have been posted in 13 pages on this thread will just go to waste if we dont get help on the scripts.

I appriciate all the feedback on the gmap we're not using, and tileset. I dont want to hear how levels were not equally as good, Heres some screenshots of the town we had. and half the gmap or more didnt have anything to do with zelda also.

Also the chatbox, maybe you'll like it when the servers not in dev, including broken or not done scripts. Duh.

all in all, it's still got a lot of future development, i assure that if everyone gave it precious time that it'd be a good, if not amazing server.

decus gave his word they were redoing everything, and i for one think he will, because i've known him forever;
