Hammer/axe gani problem

The axe gani was altered when graal 4 was released and was terrible, since then it has been fixed but not completely hammers/axes are still very difficult to fight with and its because when your running and you hit you do the swing movement instead of the straight hit we used to do, people using axes/hammers have always been at a disadvantage because of the slow movement and no weight damage bonus they probably should have (as axes/hammers are slow they should probably have some damage bonus etc) with the gani doing a swing movement you stay still for to long making them absolutely impossible to fight with, would be cool if this could be sorted.

Just tested this and the problem applies to both versions of graal, but only since V4.

This is still a problem but according to bjorn it can't be a gani problem as the ganis havn't been edited. He didn't know how to fix it but comfirmed it was there. Are there any staff that can fix this?

Perhaps the script was changed?

No script was changed and the last gani update was sometime in 2003.
