2 Levels

Hello, I was wondering if I can get some feedback on two of my levels.
Thanks!

Ignore the chair in the second level. It's from a furniture system I have.

@ First Level:

It's decent. It's not finished, though...

You should use a bigger variety of dirt tiles. The cliffs are nice though.

@ Second Level:

That looks strangely familiar to something Entrok made for you a while back...

Your first level - Well, the only thing to really judge is the cliffing. To me, it's clean and looks nice, reminiscent of Wan's cliff tiling. However, the rest of the level is pretty much bare.

Second level - While it looks nice and I see no glaring tile error issues at first glance, the amount of grass overgrowth tiling just hurts my eyes. It does look to be, however, without any errors. Just, as a player, it's a level I'd avoid because there's just so much going on. However, if that's the style you're going for, it seems to be well done.

I do like that the detail in the level is done with non-blocking tiles as it's more functional for gameplay, however I can't help but feel that it's too much of the same tiles over and over. Again, it's a personal preference thing.

Overall, I think they're nice. Keep up the good work.

For the first level, I think the same as everyone else - it needs a larger variety of dirt tiles. I like the cliffs, though.

As for the second one... I like it. But (remember I'm no expert) I think there are a few too many grass tiles in places. I like mah levels with 'em, but not everywhere. Is that the Classic iPhone tileset I see? Where'd ya get it? I can only find the winter one in iFile...

Looks like a mix of dusty's tiles and pics1, use dusty's tileset and you'll get close enough to it =P

First level is good if it's supposed to be an artificial pond (ie - no depth, natural forms) beside a manicured, if not neglected lawn.

Second level - I like those cliffs, but is there no better cornering for them? Why is there a random chair? And pre-cut bushes? And random road/pathway tiles? I don't see any Bomy-Bopots, so that nonsensical NewMain style doesn't belong (anywhere ever again).
