Hell we've got advanced games but we still like to play the classic stuff. Let's have some PS3 players check out the PS2 again!
Apart from the levels, which you can see in screenshots anyway, "current" Classic (the Classic you're referring to) is not giving a fair representation of the original Classic.

Sure, the system scripts were awful, they needed to be fixed, HD needed to be addressed. However, as I stated as my plan all along as dev admin, the best route to cleaning that up would have been progressively redoing what needed to be redone on a step by step basis while keeping the server up with occasional updates.
I completely agree, for once. I think the way it's being done now is more egotistical than anything else, in a way. Most of Thor's posts that I've seen are irritatingly verbose and display a strong hint of trying to get people to think he's special. Sorry if you feel like this is insulting Thor, but it's what I see, and as a previous short-term manager/developer for the server, it's bothersome.

Dramatically changing the server's long-standing design is a stupid move as well. Change the server name or make it what it was, it's just that simple.

Are you seriously implying that this thread has some incredible value to where going slightly off-topic is going to be devastating to it? You also do realize your post is only making what you think is bad, worse, right?

Think of how much more we could have had if we had worked together to repair and build upon the existing server.

That's true, but they weren't beyond replacing one at a time.

I remember when I and my two big brothers bought a PS2 when it came out on the market, we were like kings.

We played alot, and really enjoyed the magic box.

I'm really happy with the turnout. I've actually wanted a portable little graal online for the longest time, back when the inklings of a psp version were the topic.

Stefan your getting another 4 dollars out of me.
that makes $24ish. Well deserved nigga.

Maintain this fresh audience and work this app up on the grossing list.
Quests asap and releasing the other servers, perhaps as other apps or worlds (with respectful staff).

PSP now has some type of app store for online purchases, maybe Eurocenter should have a look at it again. As far as I know, they had it working with PSP but just didn't have a good way of distributing it.

Oh, well, that's dumb. They aren't trying to push something like Xbox live are they? (Were there can not be any external servers, microsoft has to handle everything.)

Nice to hear that you keep an eye on it though!

The problem with PSPs is the low data transfer rates and the current games with network features only work with Ad-Hac and are not using a router to connect to the internet.
