That doesn't answer my question -_-...
Other than war, how else would you like to roleplay??

You guys are missing the fact that Roleplay has ALWAYS been about war on bm. At least war has had some influence on all other types of Roleplay.

Wryoko is correct, Graalians generally don't want to RP anywhere past war. Islands are still a bad idea though.

Scrap role-playing, and just have fun events, quests, items, weapons, jobs. Copying 2002 wont get you players.

The entire concept of RPing, including the names, for 2k2, was copied/taken from 2k1. So now we're here, left with almost nothing RPwise.

Quest and events are fun, but a server where you can RP without random newbies abusing their power is better.

Y'know, I just noticed that now.

---------------------------------------------------

Anyway, my idea is.

1) In the castle/kingdom libraries, record the history of the kingdom. Maybe biographies of the royals, listing their greatest achievments and what led to their downfall. It would add a ye olde feel to it.

Sure, it's a small thing, but why not?

Few people actually RPed on Graal 2001.
The majority of the players just prefered the wars.
Basically they like it like Guild Wars on classic, just fighting with no RPing.

Thats Highly untrue.

Back before Stefan stoped updating and before the horrors of GoKart and Minigolf there once was a major RP Community.

Pretty much the best Roleplaying times were in the Days of Dante.

I've had the most fun "role-playing" in Zormite on 2k1 -_- NOT fighting although wars took place occasionally and it was sort of fun ;p *Remembers killing Ghostie while he was sleeping when Pirates backstabbed us in the war vs KT*

You are probally the most ignorant person I've ever met, You are still completly missing what i'm asking and you are just repeating yourself in each one of your replies.

Now I'm going to ask you this once more and if I don't get a knowledgable answer i'm just going to ignore Every one of your posts.

What other types of Roleplay, That doesn't involve Fighting of some sort, is there to implement??

Well when I brought up this idea I meant it to be like Another Frontier.. Something that would allow Roleplayers to group up and explore the islands (We were planning out Seperate Histories and Mysteries for each island). It would also Allow RPers to Roleplay in a Realistic Enviroment; I'd go into detail about it but i'm not sure of how it would work and I don't want to give you guys any ideas and either get your hopes up or despise the idea entirely.

Mind giving us a few Examples of these 'times'?

That's not the best way to get what you want, but whatever. Anyway.

I can't see how you posibally CAN'T get it.

But if you want specific examples, fine.

Events, like Archery Contests
Relationships, both romantic and not, just talking.
Fighting without fighting, like having a war without attacking random enemy #36, for example, Dusta- erm, INRA sends a spy into Pirate Crew or whatever, I don't even know the new names, oh well, anyway...

Kingdom A sends a spy into Kingdom B's fort. Kingdom B finds spy. Rather then cutting him to shreds, they send him to jail, where sombody else from Kingdom A needs to get him out, posibally by force (battling, which should by no means be ignored, but it's just overused as is,) or by bargining (Set him free and I'll give you cash.)

Plenty of ideas out there.

Okay.. When I said Fighting I meant things War-related.

Archery Contests, Espionage, Prisoner Exchange? All these are War Related. Now relationships Is something the players must do on their own I can't find a way to force players to 'Relate' with each other.

So I'll rephrase myself; What types of Roleplay, that doesn't involve War-Related and Things already Implemented (Or things that don't need to be implemented due to the fact that they are already there), Is there for me to implement??
