RC Crashing on Startup

I don't know if something was updated recently or not, but now I suddenly can't run RC at all outside the game client. I have tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling everything, and I am still getting the same error. This is for both the XP / Vista version and the new one for Windows 8.

I've already tried running it in compatibility mode and have tried fiddling around with other options as well.

Tried running it in a different folder?

The proper way to uninstall and reinstall Graal is to delete the folder and install again.
