Quick Question

So i am working on a system right now where i'm making all the basic ganis: walk, idle, etc and i am adding blood to the player as they get hurt. I plan on having several weapons, but honestly i don't want to have to sit there and add the blood effect to every single weapon gani.

Is there a way i could write a code that would add the sprites to the gani for me? Or am i going to have to do it by hand?

When you swing the weapon the blood effect would show up, so instead what you should do is have a hurt gani with blood and then trigger that when they get hit.

If that makes sense.

No not like that. Every single gani will have a blood effect at all times once their hp got below a certain point. So like there is a hurt-walk, hurt-idle, etc. Rather than having to add the actually blood sprites to every gani i wasn't sure if there was a easier way of doing this effect

You can attach a gani to a player can't you? Maybe just make the blood effect in it's own gani and do that.

Use showani It might get a bit hectic lag wise with several people bleeding though :S
