Axe/hammer revision

Swords are the main fighting weapon because they are fast and you can move while you strike with them, axes/hammers are much much slower then swords and you get frozen to the spot when you hit with them. Daggers are nice because they are even faster then swords and have uses in PvE.

I really feel axes/hammers should get some perks to make them viable and good for fighting with, or at the very least given the same speed as swords have and allow you to move while you strike. Although there are other good alternatives that could be discussed, axes/hammers could be given extended range or a extra final damage multiplier at the end so that they deal double the final damage of swords or so.

While axes is around 40kg

...This is the answer why you are able to move around while hitting.

I obviously understand axes/hammers would be heavier which is why i suggested other alternatives like the extended range or additional power. But they need something.

Then don't get into a situation like that. If your being hit by three swords anyway it's got a mini-stun of itself.

I'd like to see hammers buffed, would finally see someone using something besides a sword for pvp.

My prepped sword, weights a tremendous amount more than 10kg .

im just tossing random ideas related to axes as i think of them. cleave damage would be like, you damage units around a certain radius around you for some % of damage depending on where they are or something.

Daggers aren't fully functional by the way, you are frozen in spot while using the dagger and trying to move while attacking making the sword in a way faster than the dagger. If mobility is your main focus. Still, i'd like to believe i was more mobile wielding a tiny dagger as opposed to a the larger, sword.

Always been in favor of hammer gaining extended range and a ministun aswell.
Axes should break all AC and give a chance to disarm.
