Layering Help

could someone please create a tutorial or tips for layering (grass/grass, dirt/grass, grass/water, shallow water/deep water) i can do it but it takes hours for simple small patches. I dont want to overdo it either.

Much appreciated!

Btw: feel free to post in this thread to save topic space

God why can't people just learn to tile in the old days? They need to be baby walked and that's why everything's down in the gutter.

Here's my advice. Practice with all tile. :P take a tile play with it and see what works. It is going to take hours and hours but repition will improve the time consuming task. You can also save custom tiles to your Graal Editor also for quick access. I had to do that with the Dark Castle Tiles.

Same here I made noobie levels. But I improved and became a Levels-G. O and I also learned simply by looking at good levels and then looking at the tileset to find what I needed to use. Once you develop an eye the point out every tile by tile in a level its quite easy to find tiles on the tileset.
