Server Skins

I think it'd be pretty cool to let servers set their own GUI skins (maybe something similar to the way servers can now set their own states.png).

True, but I was envisioning something where players on my server could select from various server skins. The windows blinds skins override GUI profiles .

Does it really? That's lame...

EDIT:
I just set my "style" to Toon and the only GUI to change on my server would be the start bar. Infact, I don't even change profile= on any of my GUIs; I just edit the default profiles on login.

I dont like what you are doing. That always ****s up the standard profiles on the other playerworlds until you restart your client

That's why all servers should be using a default profile initialize script like I do. I'll release it if people want, it's very very simple.

it is finally possible to replace sprites.png and state.png by script:

* GS1: setspritesimage filename; setstatusimage filename;
* GS2: setspritesimage("filename"); setstatusimage("filename"); or use the global variables spritesimage or statusimage
* those images will then be used to draw the default classic GUI (state.png) and default sprite effects like when carrying a bush or swimming (sprites.png)
* the images will be reset to the default value when switching a server
