I already looked at this positively... I'm glad that it was made free. This is a whole separate problem though, one that hinders Graal a lot.
But... it wasn't done because we, the members wanted it done, it was because a few people he liked bugged him for it.

I haven't read the rest of the thread, so I won't be jumping in on all the negativity I'm sure exists already. But I will offer my perspective on the system.


In all honesty, I think it's a rather nice addition to the forums. However, it seems like there should be some way to sort through them more easily. Directory headings by topic would be convenient. I like the RSS feed that was included. It's a really nice touch. But it would be more interesting to see development notes related to servers rather than people. I like being able to read about updates, but don't necessarily want to hear about them all from one person's perspective. Seeing specialized groups for this sort of thing included would be boss. Any chance a tagging system could be included in this too?


Anyway, I see this as a good way for the players to better demonstrate what they can do. Now if only we had the old website layout back where server admins could post stuff that showed up on the main page...
