No, I'd totally re-do the up/down, base it on the side views for length, but shave off around 3-4 pixels. Also make sure you make the front of the gun (where it shoots) stick out from the up down views the way that the side views do, try to implement as much of the side views traits into the up/down as possible. So it looks like they are the same gun.

Switch you have a criticism about every pixel of this gun ,Good on ya. Without tough teachers we never learn.

Looks good vampire. I cannot say I like the straight up and down handle, I think it might look better curved.
