I'll be contacting you about the storyline writer either tonight or tomorrow afternoon. I'm busy today with personal business, but my credentials should be enough.

Storyline position.

Hello Tig (as well as other GK players / staff) long time no see. I just recently returned to the game after about a year off and am currently looking for something to do on my spare time.

I would absolutely love a chance to tryout for a storyline writer position on your team if there is still any available spots. I write the story for an anime that me and a group of friends work on.

Would love to get in contact with you. My email / MSN is [email protected], feel free to email or chat with me whenever you have the time. I'll check back on the forums every so often in case you reply here.

Please contact me if you'd like to talk. Include information about yourself, some examples of things you've done, and explain why you would be valuable to the team.

It is good to see that someone is concentrating on what is truly important - the foundation - as opposed to trying to add trivial items and features to the game. This is a step in the right direction, hopefully the other steps follow and do not blindly trip.

Tig, I sent you a brief e-mail.

How do I make a GK level? I downloaded the development pack and all it is is images. How do I add flowers, slopes, etc to outside levels to make a real GK level?

Use the terrain generator to make a simple gmap with terrain support and open one of the levels in the level editor. With the level editor open add a script similar to this but change gmapname.gmap to the name of your gmap.

PHP Code:
//#CLIENTSIDE
if (created) {

loadmap gmapname.gmap;

removetiledefs

addtiledef picso2.png,,0

Please remove that loadmap and add a line "gmapname" to loadgmaps.txt in your graal folder instead

Every time I've tried to use loadgmap.txt in the past it has never worked for me so I just add loadmap to the tileset script and delete it again after the map has loaded.

So, Tig, do you expect GK iPhone to be cross-platform or not? I've heard rumors.

Yea. I read that. But I heard from one of the people developing there that they were leaning towards cross-platform.. and to do so it'd be hard etc because of different packages. idk.
